Malaysia Airlines the country's main airline carrier will be providing special assistance to all delegates and participants in making arrangements for their flights. MAS will provide special discounts for delegates and participants to attend the 2IMUC. Further information will be made available very soon via the convention website.

Global Islamic Summit & Trade Exhibition Dubai UAE

The Chairman of Ramadhan Foundation, Mr Muhammad Umar will be a guest speaker at the "Global Islamic Summit & Trade Exhibition (GISTEX)" schedule to take place from 7th till 9th November 2009 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai UAE.

GISTEX is being hosted under The Auspices and Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum. On 23rd June 2009 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Ramadhan Foundation has appointed My Events International to manage and coordinate the 2nd International Muslim Unity Convention that will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 14th – 16th December 2009.

This was signed and ratified on the 23rd of June 2009, by the Chairman of Ramadhan Foundation, United Kingdom –Mr. Muhammad Umar & the Chief Executive Officer of My Events International, Malaysia – Mr. Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood.

The Ramadhan Foundation is pleased to announce officially the 2nd International Muslim Unity Convention to be held from 15th – 16 December 2009 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Four years ago in Manchester, UK the world’s most renowned Muslim scholars, thinkers, economists and politicians came together to discuss and agree how Muslims can unite and tackle the common issues facing our diverse communities. In an unprecedented show of Muslim unity for the first time in Western World we were able to demonstrate what we can achieve together.

Now four years on, bigger and better in the peace capital of the world Kuala Lumpur, this great city where diversity is practiced and celebrated Muslims will come together to reflect on the journey towards Muslim Unity.

We are pleased to announce that the Prime Minister of Malaysia HE Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak has agreed to open the Convention and along with the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, the Worlds most renowned scholars, leaders and economists this promises to be the event of the year.

Confirmation that Justice Mufti Taqi Uthmani will be a guest speaker at the 2IMUC

On Tuesday 6th August Mr. Rafat Saghir Farooqui Personnel Secretary to Justice Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani confirmed in a special telegram to Muhammad Umar, Chairman of 2IMUC that Mufti Taqi Uthamani as confirmed that he would be honoured to particiapte at 2IMUC.
